Karim
KARIM ALOBOLA
Karim was born on 29th /June/2007 in a Muslim family with his elder brother Abedi. At the age of one year Karim’s father died. His mother became wandering window since she did not know the exact origin of her husband. Being poor and helpless, they moved to slum area in Pallisa District and were helped by a good Samaritan who gave them a leaking grass thatched house.
They slept on the flour with one old bed sheet to cover themselves. His mother had nothing to do and resorted to provide labour in people’s homes in exchange for food. This made them have only three meals in a week.
Karim’s life was affected, he became malnourished and stunted in growth. He could not walk well and speak yet he was three years old.
Through our bible club in their village we identified the need to help him and he was brought to our children’s home under intensive care. He underwent treatment and now his health is good. He now talks well and can run.
Karim is now in school in Nursery. He is very social and discovering new things.
Karim wants to be a pastor in future.
